    Curious about life at MVS? Students in grades 7-12 are invited to shadow current middle and upper school students at our next "Ram for a Day" shadow day on Monday, October 14. Prospective families with children of all ages are invited to visit MVS for group tours on October 14.

    Join MVS at 6:30 p.m. on October 17 for this virtual event hosted by Anne Dettmer, Director of Enrollment Management. Anne will present on the MVS financial structure, flexible tuition program, tuition payment plans, tuition insurance, and more, with time allotted for your questions. Admissions Process

  • Step 1:

  • Step 2:

    Supporting Documents

    Depending on your child's age, this next component of your application might include letters of recommendation from your child's current teachers, school records and transcripts, and a personal statement. All materials are submitted to MVS through our secure application platform and kept strictly confidential. 
  • Step 3:

    Visit MVS


    Applicants in grades 1-12 visit MVS on a school day and/or conduct a video chat with admissions and division staff if needed.

    Applicants to the early childhood school (grades JPK-K) are invited to take part in small-group visit days during the school year. Individual visits or virtual visits can be arranged. 

    Applicants may be asked to engage with MVS staff for additional assessment in addition to the above steps. 
  • Step 4:

    Admission Decision

    Admissions decisions are issued by the end of March for applicants with completed application files by early March, including all supporting documents and the applicant visit. Early decisions are given for applicants to grades 1-12 who have completed the application process in the fall or winter, for grades in which space is known to be available for the following fall. Families are encouraged to complete their applications by February 1 for priority consideration in admissions.

  • Transportation

    Public school district transportation

    Public school bus service to and from MVS is available to eligible students in the Beavercreek and Centerville school districts.
    MVS notifies a public school district of a student’s enrollment for each school year. Parents are then contacted by the school district transportation office to arrange their child’s transportation. All routes and availability of transportation are subject to change or elimination by the public school district at any time. MVS is not responsible for changes or eliminations.

    Additional options

    Private bus service may be available in select areas for morning transportation to MVS from the far north, northeast, and/or south. Contact the MVS Enrollment Office to inquire about cost and other details.
    To help facilitate the organization of carpools, MVS provides parents with resources to identify families who live near them.
