Two MVS students earned first prize awards in the Lydia May Memorial Holocaust Writing Contest, sponsored by the Dayton Holocaust Resource Center.

Liam '31, a sixth grader, won first place in Division I (grades 5-8). Harpreet '27, a tenth grader, won first place in Division II (grades 9-12). 

The Max & Lydia May Memorial Holocaust Art & Writing Contests are among the DHRC's longest-running programs to promote awareness of the history of the Holocaust. The theme for this year's contests was "The Second Generation," focusing on how the families of Holocaust survivors carry forward their legacy and their stories eighty years after the conclusion of World War II.
